ISO 9001 Certification - Fiscal Meter Audits

With this article, we would like to inform you about Circular 35/5 of 26/11/2006, according to which, the Inland Revenue Agency has sanctioned that businesses wishing to obtain authorisation to carry out periodic audits on tax meters must obligatorily have a certified quality management system (QMS) that complies with the UNI EN ISO 9001:2008 standard. Even businesses that already operate but are not yet ISO 9001 certified are obliged to comply.

What is 9001 certification

The ISO 9001. quality management system must be certified by a Certification Body/Body regularly accredited by the European Cooperation for Accreditation (EA). Therefore, all those companies/businesses operating in the field of fiscal meter audits that do not have the certification are not regular and will have to adapt by acquiring the ISO 9001:2008 certification.
